As anxiety and fear of COVID-19 spread, so has the surge of racist and xenophobic actions targeting Asian, Asian-American, and Asian Pacific Islander staff, students, and families. Please read and, as time permits, share
this statement of solidarity by MPS staff on your social media and listservs. The statement argues for a clear stance against anti-Asian racism & xenophobia by the MPS community. It also includes resources for community members and educators who want to stand against anti-Asian violence & racism and for Asian and Asian-American students and families directly impacted by racism incited by COVID-19.
