Community News - MCE’s Got Talent!

Minneapolis Community Education is hosting our first ever citywide youth (virtual) talent show: MCE’s Got Talent! It is for any K-12 student with any talent (singing, dancing, drumline, comedy routine, reciting Pi, juggling, poetry, etc). Maybe we have the next Prince, Amanda Gorman, Twyla Tharp or Jerry Seinfeld in our community? “Celebrity judges” from the Twin Cities performing arts community will choose winners for cash prizes up to $100 from the finalists in a showcase that will stream Feb 26. The event will be hosted by KARE11’s Karla Hult. Tickets are available starting at $5 at mplscommunityed.com.
Solo or groups welcomed. Attached is the audition poster. Please share it/post it with your students/neighbors/friends. Students can sign up at mplscommunityed.com to indicate they will be auditioning and I’ll get in touch with them with the next steps. Audition deadline is Feb 12!
