Southwest Boys Basketball team is winding up the 2013-14 season with an exciting home game vs. our big rival high school, Washburn.

At Southwest High School Main Gym (Athletic Entrance off of Chowen Ave.  Note:  No parking allowed on Chowen Ave.)

SW Boys Varsity Basketball won the City Champs in 2013, and we invite you to help keep this program strong!   Life Time Fitness is a sponsor of our Southwest Boys Basketball Silent Auction Fundraiser February 1-15, including Life Time Fitness health club memberships, exercise equipment and Spring 2014 Timberwolves tickets.   Get a family membership to Life Time, the healthy way of life company, at a fraction of the regular cost and help support the largest basketball program in Minneapolis.

In addition to the Life Time Fitness items, you may also bid on a fun opportunity for a young person in your life.  He or she could be chosen as an Honorary player for the Varsity Away Game, Southwest Lakers vs. Roosevelt Teddies 2/20/14.  The honorary player will wear a SW Lakers Jersey (and keep it afterwards), hang out with the SW Lakers players, participate in pre-game warm-ups, sit on the bench with the team and ride back with the team bus after Southwest puts the hurt on the Teddies.  Give a child a chance to travel with the team and be part of Southwest school spirit!  This will be a big thrill and a priceless memory for the young person receiving this opportunity.
