Know what the young frog said to his Mom as she was about to read him a book? “Mom, I already read it, read it, read it!” Is that going on at your house? I’m glad to hear that because we need your used books on Friday!

Each K-5 student is asked to bring in one gently used or new children’s book for the children receiving services at Sharing & Caring Hands (SCH) in Minneapolis. There will be a collection bag in each classroom.

Mary Jo Copeland, Founder and Director of SCH will determine what books can be used in their on-site classrooms and which they will give away to children in need. We are happy knowing that our boxes of books are being recycled back into so many children's hands.

Help Needed! The Read-a-Thon team is looking for two or three volunteers that can pick up collected books at Upper and Lower Campus classrooms on Monday, February 25 and deliver them between the hours of 8:30 - 4:30pm to Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis. Please contact Amy Mimick (amymimick@yahoo.com) if you can help.
