This is my first year teaching at Lake Harriet Community School and I am looking forward to meeting each of you! I may know some of you from last year when I worked as a Special Education Assistant and with the First In Math program after school. I have my Bachelor's Degree from St. Olaf College in Economics and Finance. After college, I worked in the corporate world before obtaining my Master's Degree in Education, and my teaching license, from St. Catherine University. While there I also got my STEM Certificate and took several of my own science, engineering, and math classes. During STEM, I hope to allow students to be creative and innovate while using their math and science talents. When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family and friends, travel, knit, and see plays and musicals. Currently, I live in Minneapolis with my husband Scott and my dog Kirby.
