Congratulations to the 85 kids who participated in the first ever Lake Harriet FIRST LEGO League GEMS and GISE Tournament! Everyone did a fabulous job and it was obvious that everyone learned a lot!
We wish to thank all the parents who volunteered their time and energy to make the Lake Harriet FIRST LEGO League Tournament such a success. Special thanks to Peggy Whistler for organizing the awards, Tricia Marden for managing the lunch, Rich Ryan for photography, and all the parents who took the time to be judges, score keepers, team check-in, set up and clean up. There were at least 50 volunteers! We couldn't have done it without you and we can’t thank you enough.
