LHCS/Scholastic All for Books drive
Help us build Lake Harriet Upper Media Center!
Recently, the Minneapolis school district reviewed our catalog and pulled books based on condition or information (for non-fiction books). That has left us with holes in our Media Center that we would like to fill!
The total value of books we would like to add is $2,750 . That’s just 275 families donating $10!
We are asking parents/friends to consider making a donation of books or Scholastic gift certificates to help us reach this goal.
And for every dollar we receive in our One for Books campaign, Scholastic will bonus our school 0.50 – Giving us the chance to add more, fresher content to our Media Center.
Please consider giving! You can place an All for Books order at the Book Fair on Friday November 1st (all day) and Saturday November 2 (9-2pm) or order on-line at bookfairs.scholastic.com and enter “Lake Harriet Upper” into the search.
We are continuing our great tradition of teacher “wish bins” at Lower Campus that give classrooms new and great materials every year.
