Staff and parents have expressed concern with safety during dismissal.  When buses are late, the sidewalks are congested and classrooms going opposite directions are unable to safely pass each other.

Effective September 25:   In order to keep our students safe, all classrooms will now exit out of the building and head north on Chowen.  Parent pick-up is the last drop off which is located at 40^th and Drew so we can ensure that teachers are connecting with parents.  Note there is a staff member who will wait with students until they are picked up.  Once the buses pull away any students remaining will be walked into the building and can be picked up at Door #1 on 41^st street.
