This winter, teachers will give students computer-based assessments in literacy and math. These assessments are called universal screeners and are used to assess broad skills and grade level proficiency. These are the same assessments your student would have participated in if they were attending school in person. More information on these assessments is available here.

Students will take the math and literacy universal screeners during distance learning between December 7th- January 15, 2021. Information about your student’s Universal Screener results and interview-based assessment(s) (if given) will be shared at winter conferences. More information on Winter Testing or opting out and be found at the Lake Harriet Testing Website.
