In October Lower Campus will begin the monthly award program to honor students who are respectful, responsible, safe, and ready to learn everyday they come to school. These students are our Citizens of the Month. This ties into the Lower Campus social studies curriculum where students are learning what it means to be a good citizen. Each homeroom teacher selects two students each month who are positive contributors to our school community.

Our first Citizens will be announced on October 28th during morning announcements. At that time, students will receive a certificate, a Citizen bracelet, and get their photo taken with their classmates. Photos are posted in our hallway display case and student names are posted monthly in the Newsletter.
