Dear MPS partners and friends,

I am writing to invite you to attend one of several public forums I will be hosting to discuss academic priorities for 2015-16 and the budget that supports them. After a brief presentation, you will be able to ask questions to a panel of MPS finance and academic leaders.

Now more than ever we are putting dollars where it matters most: in the classroom.  We want to explain how we expect this shift to positively affect student achievement.

It is important to us that our families and community understand the budget before the school board votes in June, so I hope you will consider attending a session.

Events will be held in the four corners of the city on the following dates and locations:
