Is kindness science? It can be! There is some evidence that being kind can make a real difference to the well-being and health of individuals who practice it and receive it. And also to those who witness it. Kindness breeds kindness - it's contagious! In the month of February we are focusing on the importance of Kindness. At the Lower Campus each student received a paper heart to write down one thing they can do to show kindness at school. Students

will then post their hearts on our Kindness display in the main hallway. At Upper Campus all teachers were given heart-shaped post-it notes to give to students when they notice random acts of kindness. Students then get to post these notes on their classroom door Kindness posters. You will find good information about the importance of Kindness at the Random Acts of Kindness website.
