LHCS Student Placed at National History Day!
Congratulations to eighth grader Jocie C. who placed seventh at National History Day at the University of Maryland this past June for her individual performance titled, The Right to Live: Ann Bilansky's Influence on Minnesota's Death Penalty Laws. Here is a link to Jocie's amazing performance.
Researching a topic and creating a History Day project is a required project for all MPS seventh grade students. The 2015 theme is: "Leadership and Legacy in History."
Contact Ms. Krawetz or Mr. Wood for more information about National History Day.
