Due to Lower Campus Construction, Xcel Energy will need to shut down power for about 6-8 hours on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013. This date is in the middle of Minneapolis Public School's Spring Break. Those residences that will be affected by the Power Outage are between and including the West side of Chowen Ave S. to the East side of Ewing Ave. S. and between 43rd Street North to 38th Street. Xcel Energy plans to send a letter of notification to the affected customers the week of March 18th.
