Middle school families will schedule a conference with their student's advisory teacher.  If they haven't already, advisory teachers will send you information sometime this week about how to sign-up for a conference. 

If your student's advisory teacher is using SignUp Genius they will send you a link to their classroom sign-up.  You should not need a SignUp Genius account to sign-up for a conference.  It's a fast and easy way to schedule time and get reminders about your meeting. 

Conferences take place:

Thursday, October 8, from 4:30-7:30 pm

Tuesday, October 13 from 4:30- 7:30 pm

Wednesday, October 14, from 8:30 am-2:00 pm

Students should attend conferences with their parents as they will play an integral role in the discussion.  As a team, advisors review grade reports in all subjects, set academic goals for the year, and address the question, "What's going well in school thus far, and what could be going better?"  Please review your student's progress on Parent Portal prior to the conference meeting.  If you need assistance with Parent Portal, contact Rhonda Bonnabeau, Family Liaison, at 612-668-3337 or email

There will be an opportunity for you to meet with other teachers on a "Pop-In-Basis."  Middle grades teachers will be posting the times they are available outside their classrooms the days of conferences.
