New K-5 Families

Room representatives
All classes in grades K-5 have a parent volunteer (sometimes more than one) called a room representative. This person serves as a liaison between families and teacher. Room reps assist teachers with planning class parties, coordinating volunteers for events, and helping in or outside the classroom. The time commitment varies based on classroom needs and rep availability. If interested, please volunteer to be a room rep at the Open House held the week before school starts. Look for an e-mail sign up at Open House so you can be added to the room reps' classroom contact list. 

Please talk with your student’s room representative and let them know that you are new to LHCS. The room rep will have some additional, helpful information for new families provided by the LHCS Site Council equity team.
