Kindergarten-5th grade students will read and keep track of the minutes they have read (outside of school time). They may collect pledges as a school fundraiser if they wish. Forms and money will be due by NOON onMarch 3. There will be prizes to earn as well as some giveaways. The awards assembly will be March 17 AM. Bikes and helmets will be awarded to the student from each grade reading the most minutes.
Parents will need to take an active role in helping their student(s) keep track of the minutes. Students had some very creative math last year and were reading 10 hours a day?

Books will be priced at $0.50 for paperbacks and $1.00 for hardcovers. All money raised from the sale will go directly to the media centers to purchase supplies, furniture, and new books.
Students can shop before or after school, and they will have time to visit the sale with their class each day. Parents are encouraged to shop the sale as well, both for their children and for themselves! We will have a selection of adult fiction/nonfiction available for purchase by teachers and parents.
Book donations can still be dropped off at the media centers at Upper AND Lower campus through Wednesday. We are seeking children's, young adult, cookbooks, activity books, decorating, and gardening books.
