The GEMS-GISE STEM Academy is an afterschool program that provides students an opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through project and problem based learning. GEMS-GISE will be through a distance-learning format.
There are several class offerings available to students in this year’s afterschool program. All students will receive a STEM Academy Kit for each course that will support engaging interactive learning experiences.
Each class will be for two one-hour sessions per week.
Synchronous, hands-on classes will be held at 8AM and 4:30PM; Mondays through Thursdays.
The schedule is either Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday.
