I am writing to let you all know that the main office at Lower is located inside the main entrance on the 41st side of the building. It is a very open space but we have rearranged our furniture to create an office atmosphere that will function more efficiently for us.  You will notice new signage coming soon to better direct newcomers at Lake Harriet Lower.  One of the new signs will name the space and a second will be located above the buzzer just inside the main door. Lucy, our large statue, greets you as part of this new defined space.

Entrance into the building from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM is only allowed when visitors use the buzzer.  Our school secretary has a monitor with a picture screen and an intercom speaker on her desk.  When people press the buzzer she can see them on the monitor.  She will ask for their name and reason for the visit and then buzz them in.  We also have new staff mail boxes and an office copier to better serve our staff.

We ask that you respect that this is our office and help us to maintain this welcoming space.  Our students have been given tours and know that this area is our office and they are not allowed to walk about the area freely or touch items in the office as that space is reserved for staff.
