Glide Over to 1010 Lake St. for a Great Event to Raise Funds for 50 Nordic Skis for Lake Harriet Kids. The district’s cross country ski equipment is 20 years old—frayed boots, broken bindings, shattered skis—all older than the kids who are using it now in Mr. DePerry’s PE class and on his annual field trip to the Barnebirkie in Hayward, WI. So, it’s time to upgrade, and what better way than to gather at 1010 Lake St. with 110 friends to raise 10 grand for new Nordic skis for the school.
We’ll have great drinks, appetizers and music, including Brad McLemore; the SW band Tom, Dick and Harry; and the Lake Harriet Teacher’s Band. Plus, we’ll have a raffle and silent auction with a bunch of cool items.
We’re even going to build a wall (of beer)! The cost is $50/person, and tickets will go fast. Buy them at LHCS's Parties Galore page, and kick back or wax on with ski-friendly co-hosts at a fun winter party for a great winter cause.
