The LHCS Spelling Bee was held on Wednesday, January 13th, with 16 students in grades 6-8 participating in the annual event. The top speller was Jonathan F. with the winning word of excursion. He will go on to compete in the district spelling bee at the Sheridan School on Thursday, January 28th. The other super spellers are Clara S, Megan B, Anders U, Mason P, Peter L, Olivia F, Kirin D, Alex L, Sigrid S, Emma M, Luke J, Rachel S, Eleanor N, Mason D, and Zaden C. Thanks to all the volunteers and teachers that helped to make this year's spelling bee a success.
