Attend a Meeting on March 12th or
Submit a Survey by March 11th

In the process to find a successor for Principal Mary Rynchek, the MPS district is asking for parental insight into what you think makes Lake Harriet Community School unique.  They would also like to get some insight into what characteristics you would want in a leader of our school.

Theresa Battle, Associate Superintendent of Area C will be gathering input from parents at a meeting at the UC gym on Tuesday, March 12th from 6-7pm. Dinner and childcare will be provided.  If you can not attend the meeting, they would like your feedback in the form of this survey which was also linked in Principal Rynchek's letter and sent home with 3rd-5th graders.  Note that the meeting will be using the same format as the survey, so if you are going to the meeting, please do NOT fill out the survey.   This input is requested from both Upper and Lower campus families, as this decision impacts or will impact all families in our school.

If you choose to fill out the survey in lieu of the meeting, please complete the online version or return the paper version to your child's teacher by March 11th.

The students will also have an opportunity to share what qualities they would like in a principal and what they think a principal's main job is.  They will do this at school.
