On May 29th, 2013, A grandparent of some Lake Harriet students was in a terrible accident. After 3 hospitals, 9 surgeries, and 11 months in nursing home/rehab, she finally was able to come home April 25th, 2014. A benefit garage sale/craft sale/ silent auction has been planned to raise money for her medical bills and continued home care. If you would like to donate items, please deliver to the Garage sale residence, at 5021 Xerxes Ave S. between June 1-10. The sale is June 5-14th.
