Let's Start a Coder Dojo at Southwest H.S.!  Parent Volunteers Needed!

What is a Coder Dojo?  It's a volunteer-led, global movement of free coding clubs that offer youth and teens exposure to coding and the world of information technology.  There is a vast need in the Twin Cities where the few clubs fill instantly and are turning away lots of kids.

To start a Coder Dojo at Southwest we need parent volunteers willing to commit 2-3 hours a month on an evening or weekend.

You do not need to know anything about coding--you will learn right alongside the kids.

You do need to be comfortable using a PC or Mac and accessing the internet.

Interested?  Email madeleinelowry@hotmail.com.

We hope to get started in January.
