Southwest will be hosting a HS Information Night this Thursday, December 7th. Our opening session will begin at 6:00 in the West Gym and then families will be able to attend four sessions of their choosing. (There will be volunteers helping to direct families!) The sessions will be presentations by all of our academic and elective departments to inform students and families as to what they could expect in the four years they attend Southwest. We anticipate ending the evening around 8:00. Unfortunately, parking around SW is also a challenge, so families should give themselves extra time ahead of the program. There is no sign-up, just show up that night.
We will have Somali and Spanish translators available and representatives from our Life Skills, Autism, and DCD citywide Special Education programs.
Many parents and students ask if they can “shadow” another student. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate these requests.
