Discovery System Issue

We are currently experiencing an issue with our Student Information System (Discovery). The issue has resulted in inaccurate displays of grading information entered accurately by teachers. As a result, building staff have been unable to print report cards at elementary schools.


Information Technology (IT) is aware of the situation and has been working diligently with Discovery representatives to address the issue. At this point, Discovery representatives have identified the problem and are urgently working to implement a solution. We understand the challenges this unforeseen interruption presents and thank you for your patience as we work to resolve it.


Discovery representatives have indicated they will provide us with a solution that can be tested by MPS IT staff by Monday. We are hopeful the solution will resolve all issues, and we will be able to move forward with printing report cards next week. If the solution is not successful, we will re-evaluate the situation and determine how we should move forward. We will be following up with another communication no later than Tuesday, April 12, to provide you with a status update and next steps.
