Hello Lake Harriet Families,

The Governor has now declared distance learning will continue for the remainder of the school year. To give teachers the time to plan for this, the Governor’s order also says there will be no school on Friday, May 1 or Monday, May 4. That means students will receive no new lessons on those days.

We realize that distance learning presents a new challenge for students, teachers and families. There have been so many changes in such a short period of time and we know that it has been very difficult for everyone. In order to be sensitive to the challenges of distance learning and to make this a successful experience for as many students and families as possible, we ask that you complete a distance learning survey by the end of Thursday, April 30. We will summarize this information to provide our teachers with useful feedback before they start planning for the rest of the year. We are so grateful for the support of our families during this difficult time.

Thank you,
Walter Schleisman, Merry Tilleson and Ashley Gillingham
