Dear Lake Harriet Community,
On October 15th, there will be a Flu shot clinic at Upper Campus from 4-8 PM. This is sponsored with a grant from Kohl’s Department Stores and is done in conjunction with Children’s Hospital and the MN Visiting Nurse Agency.
We are in need of a total of 4 parent volunteers, 2 volunteers per shift, 2 shifts. The first shift is from 3:45-6 PM, the second is from 5:50-8 PM. Please respond to Kathy.Frey@mpls.k12.mn.us if you are able to volunteer.
Clinic Volunteer Responsibilities:
1. Greet and direct participants to the registration table.
2. Request participants to have insurance cards available for the registration process.
(MVNA registrars will check all completed consent forms).
3. Maintain an orderly participant waiting line, have upper arm accessible and consent form complete.
4. Ensure adequate distance for confidentiality between the nurse’s table/station and those waiting in line.
