Lake Harriet Families
While the district has sent out many updates on school closures, we thought it might be helpful to assemble a list of LHCS specific changes/updates. Because the situation changes rapidly, please continue to check the district website often.

The current school closure is designed to allow schools and teachers time to plan for distance learning. It is not the expectation of the Department of Education or Minneapolis Public Schools that teachers have a system in place now. For Lake Harriet, that means there will be no new required/graded assignments until after spring break (April 6) if the closure is extended. Students can complete missing work or continue on an assignment that was already given.

If school continues to be closed after spring break, we will be sharing our distance learning plan with parents at that time.

The building will be closed starting March 18 until at least May 4.
