The Lower Campus Addition Grand Opening was an enormous success!  Minneapolis Public Schools Superintendent Bernadia Johnson and School Board Member Tracine Asberry cut the ribbon to officially open the 14 classroom addition.  Parents, students and neighbors got to view the new reception area, lunchroom and specialist rooms as well as visit their new classrooms.  Caroline Cochran, the Site Council President, specifically thanked the many parents who worked to advocate for this addition as well as the parents and teachers on the construction committee.

The new Curriculum Night and Middle School Orientation at Upper Campus allowed parents and students to meet their new Principal Walter Schleisman.   Parents and students were able to meet with their teachers and hear about the curriculum for the upcoming year.
