Reading is SNOW much fun is the theme for the 2016 LHCS Readathon January 29-February 26. Students K-5 will get pledges and keep track of the minutes they read or are read to. February 4th is Family Author night featuring writer and illustrator, Nancy Carlson. There will be a book sale at Wild Rumpus February 7 and 20% of the proceeds go to LHCS. Students participating in the readathon will be eligible for great prizes including limited edition readathon t-shirts and back packs.

Dates to keep track of reading minutes: January 29-February 26

·         January 28: Kick off/packets sent home.

·         Feb 4: Family Author Night 6:30-8 PM LC Nancy Carlson

·         Feb 5: Literary Character Day

·         Feb 7: Wild Rumpus Book Sale, noon-5:00 pm

·         Feb 25-26: Upper Campus used book sale •    Feb 26 last day to read for readathon

·         Feb 29-March 4: turn in forms and collected pledge money

·         March 4: Date to turn packets in by to be eligible for prizes.
