Special note of congratulations go to 8th graders Nisi C. and Lili I. for winning Second Place at National History Day 2012 this past June in College Park, Maryland.  The theme was "TURNING POINTS IN HISTORY: People, Ideas, Events". A turning point is an idea, event, or action that directly, and sometimes indirectly, caused change.
