Theresa Harich won a Channel 9 News Top Teacher Award on April 23! She was honored during a surprise celebration which was attend by all second grade students and teachers, some of her friends and parents in the classroom as well as the news crew.  She was nominated by parents in her classroom.
 
Besides the honor of being nominated and winning, she received $900 for supplies for her classroom, a "100 sub sandwich" party and a beautiful apple paperweight.
 
This is another example of the outstanding teachers at Lake Harriet Community School.
