Hello Lake Harriet Families,

At this point, most information on our curent situation is being provided to everyone from the district level.  We will add items here either to make sure they are accessible, but also if we feel there is something specific to Lake Harriet or of interest to our community.  Below are some items that meet both criteria.  Please stay healthy and take care of yourself and your family.  If you have specific questions feel free to reach out.

ONLINE Enrichment for students is now LIVE! Families can access the resources through this link:  https://sites.google.com/mpls.k12.mn.us/mpsonlinepk-12/home The  site has engaging ENRICHMENT activities for students – none of these are required or graded. Some elements are available with Spanish translation.

If you do not have technology access, paper copies of enrichment activities can be picked up at food delivery sites (https://cws.mpls.k12.mn.us/COVID19) until a new plan is developed.  Right now our district does not have the ability to check out technology to students, but we are working to see if there are options available to us.  If you have technology, but need internet access, some providers are offering free internet service during the shutdown:

Free Internet

1) Spectrum is offering 60 days of free service to new clients with all service fees waived. Anyone interested can sign up for this by calling their number (844-488-8395) or going to a spectrum store.

2) Comcast is providing 60 days of free internet for low income families. More information can be found here:https://corporate.comcast.com/press/releases/internet-essentials-low-income-broadband-coronavirus-pandemic
