Lake Harriet's MATHCOUNTS club for students in 6th - 8th grade meets Mondays from 8:25 – 9:25 AM before school, starting September 11th - in Room 202 (Mr Lazur's new classroom) and all are welcome. We tackle fun and challenging mathematical problems, exploring the beauty of mathematics through games, activities, and problem solving in groups and individually. Interested students have the opportunity to test their skills in low-key competitions throughout the year, or apply their creative skills in creating a math themed video.
