Our PTA Membership Chair caught up with Johnathan Harlin, new Visual Arts teacher at Upper Campus, to welcome him to LHCS.
What subject/grade(s) do you teach? Visual arts and I teach grades 4th-8th grade

Please share a little about yourself: I grew up in Minneapolis MN, and graduated from Metropolitan State University. I am married but do not have any kids at the moment. I used to have a cat 7 years ago. I am in the market for buying a fish or purchasing a Savanah Cat depending on local laws for this cat because it is big. My favorite food of all time would be Authentic Tacos.
What do you love about teaching? I enjoy seeing the creativity that students bring to the assignments I create. You have an idea of how it will look, but I am always amazed at the turn out of the projects.
Do you have any hobbies or special interests outside of the classroom? I create my own comic book and I am working on a 2d animation short. I also study Shaolin Kung Fu
