Parents are invited to a discussion of the book Mindset by Carol Dweck on February 24, 7:00 PM in the Upper Campus Media Center. We welcome Barry Wadsworth, a LHCS parent and staff of Minneapolis Public Schools, to facilitate a discussion of the concepts of a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset introduced in this book. A preview of these ideas is detailed in an article for Scientific American, found here. Six copies of the book are available to borrow thanks to the generosity of the PTA.
