Lake Harriet Lower Campus is seeking applicants to serve as Minnesota Reading Corps tutors for the 2017-18 school year.
Qualifications:
Can commit to working with students every day during school hours from August 20, 2017 to June 23, 2018.
Have a strong desire to support K-3 students developing literacy skills. (An Education degree is not required - training is provided as well as on site coaching)
Are resilient, flexible, and open to feedback
Have reliable transportation
Are citizens, nationals, or lawful permanent residents of the U.S.
Schedule is primarily school day hours, Monday through Friday when school is in session.
Choose from 3 positions:
25 hours per week
35 hours per week
40 hours per week
Must be available for training on August 22-25 from 8:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Twin Cities
