Parent portal
Be sure to sign up for the parent portal and visit it often using the link on the left side of the LHCS home page.The portal will allow to you to stay informed about your child's grades in each class and will allow you to monitor for missing assignments.Teachers also sometimes e-mail parents via the portal

Classroom websites
In the middle grades, teacher web sites are especially important to visit at least weekly.They contain critical information about assignments, due dates, upcoming projects, helpful resources, etc.  Find middle grades classroom pages under the Classroom & Support Staff tab on the left side of any website page.
