Safe in Our Schools is a new engagement initiative of the Minneapolis Public Schools intended to help us learn and better understand what strategies will increase safety and create a more welcoming school environment. Our goal is to work together to foster a school community that supports all students, families, community members and staff.

Below are important opportunities for parents to become involved. To ensure that all voices are heard, we are scheduling focus groups to hear directly from various stakeholders, including parents, on how we can better maintain a safe and welcoming environment. If you’re interested in participating in one of the focus groups, please register below:
