This year we are going to have a fall play. The play will be directed by Lon Church (who directed our play three years ago) and will be called The Voyageurs.
Built on the history of the French-Canadian Voyageurs, our play will take some creative liberties with time and gender, but keep the spirit of adventure, overcoming great challenges (like a Lake Superior nor’easter), a song or two, a dance or two, and lots of laughter.
Thanks to the generosity of the PTA, the participation cost is only $25. Sign-up sheets will be available in the office starting Wednesday, 9/18 and auditions start 9/30 at 4:15. Rehearsals will be Mon/Wed/Fri from 4:15 – 6:00 and the performances will be at 7:30 on 11/21 and 11/22. The play is open to grades 5 – 8 students.
