Lake Harriet Summer 6!

The magic number is 6! Your UC students have learned that simply reading 6 books over the summer may help offset the dreaded "summer slide." Ask your student what this means. Please look for a worksheet coming home this week and support your student in trying to reach this goal of reading 6 books over the summer. Also, remember, public libraries and local bookstores are great, air-conditioned places to visit during break! Contact UC Library with questions.

Please return all library books this week or contact Gretchen Lieving if you have ANY questions or need to pay a fine. 8th Graders, especially, should try to take care of this now so the overdue/ lost books don't carry over to their high school records.
