UC Summer Reading Challenge

Last June, we challenged all incoming 4th-8th graders to read at least 6 books over the summer. The only criteria is that the books should be ones that your student WANTS to read and that are roughly at his or her reading level. Summer is winding down but THERE'S STILL TIME to complete the challenge! Click here for the Summer 6 Reading form and email Gretchen Lieving with any questions.
Students should fill out the front with books they read over the summer and return the form the first week of school. There will be small rewards plus the satisfaction of reading some awesome books. We also suggest visiting www.hclib.org for book recommendations.
